Students

Each year thousands of students come to live in Guildford to attend one of a number of higher education establishments including the University of Surrey, the Guildford Conservatoire, the Academy of Contemporary Music, and the Guildford College.

At Guildford Baptist Church we offer students of all ages and nationalities a programme of activities and hospitality with the aim of providing them with a home away from home whilst they are in Guildford. Follow this link to find out how.

Children

Children have a very important part to play in the life of Guildford Baptist Church. About 100 of them come each Sunday morning and have some time with the adults worshipping the Lord together before spending time in their various small groups according to age.

NewFocus

NewFocus

If you have retired or you still work part-time, you would be most welcome at NewFocus. Around 70 folks meet twice a month at the Millmead Centre. Although the emphasis is on a Christian approach to life, the meetings are open to everyone, irrespective of their beliefs. We have regular guest speakers, and a delicious lunch is served once a month. Outings are arranged, and an annual holiday in the UK always proves very popular.

This historic area is great for sailing, walking and cycling and for many years a group from Millmead has camped close to the water on an idyllic headland. Please feel free to join us in May or August. the details of the upcoming holiday from August 21st to 29th are available by clicking here. For more details please phone Roger Harris at the Church Office. Click here to go to the Facebook page for Millmead Mariners.

Women at Millmead

Women in Millmead

You are warmly invited to our meetings for women at Millmead. The group is for women of all ages and stages of life who attend Guildford Baptist Church, as well as their friends. Its purpose is to encourage and affirm women to become all that God created us to be, with our eyes firmly fixed on Jesus.
We meet together to share perspectives as Christian women, to consider what Scripture has to say about issues that affect us, to worship God, and to make new friends and catch up with existing ones and to pray for one another. We find that we have much to learn from one another, with each of us bringing a unique experience of life.
For the current programme click here and it will open up in a new window.
