Prayer Ministry at Guildford Baptist Church
May we help you?
Are you facing a difficult situation?
Do you need prayer for something you have to face this week?
Are you in pain or struggling with your health?
Would you value a fresh touch from the Lord?
Would it help to talk? |
Prayer Ministry is offered in a variety of ways, and under the guidance and anointing of the Holy Spirit:
Prayer at Sunday services for any situation that you would like to bring before God. This can be a personal need, a difficult decision you have to make, a hospital appointment to face, or something God has highlighted during the sermon etc.
Prayer Ministry appointments if appropriate for those wanting to go deeper with Jesus into the freedom He promises.
Soaking Prayer for any on-going situation where God's help is required e.g. coping with chronic illness or disability.
Prayer for Physical Healing either at Church or at home. The Elders of the Church are also available to pray for healing with the anointing of oil in accordance with James 5:14.
- All that is shared is held in complete confidence.
- The Prayer Ministry Team is made up of people called by God into this ministry and who receive ongoing training and ministry themselves as part of their own development.
- If you would like to speak to a member of the Prayer Ministry team on a Sunday, they can be identified by their badges. To contact them during the week, please telephone the Church Office on 01483 575008
- If you would like to get involved with Prayer Ministry, please click here for a slide showing how you might go about this. For more information please speak to Marian Westlake.

Angela Seaton-Mills is Pastoral Chaplain at Lee Abbey Christian Centre. She will lead the course, the aim of which is to move into a deeper relationship with Jesus, both personally and into the lives of other people. There will be opportunities to learn in very practical ways how to minister under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The course is free and open to all. |
- How do I bring Jesus' Kingdom to others?
- How do I minister like Jesus did?
- How do I do the Jesus stuff?
- How do I understand myself - and how does that help?

On Saturday March 24th 2007, Paul and Bryony Springate from the Harnhill Christian Healing Centre led a day at the Millmead Centre entitled: 'Boundaries: Restrictions or Freedom?' If you would like to listen to the sessions then please click below as appropriate:-
