BREAKFAST
Saturday January 21st 2012
7.45 am to 9.30 am
Peter Morden, Tutor in Church History and Spirituality at Spurgeon's College, will lead the discussion on
‘The Bible for the Masses: the Popular Preaching of C.H. Spurgeon’
Peter says "I aim to establish Spurgeon’s importance as a preacher, explore some of the influences on him, and analyse his approach to both preaching and living the biblical text. There is lots of food for thought for preachers today in Spurgeon’s life and ministry and I hope to bring some of this out."
