Viv Thomas is the Director of Formation (www.formation.org.uk), an international public speaker and college lecturer. He is a course developer and supervisor, mentor, a team leader and writer with a Masters degree in Human Resource Development and another in Spiritual Theology, along with a Ph.D. in Theology and Culture from King's College, London. He is also the Teaching Pastor at St. Paul's Hammersmith. For the last 20 years Viv Thomas has been involved in speaking, teaching and mentoring throughout the UK and the world.
At this event he will be speaking on The Spectacular Ordinary Life
looking at what we need to pay attention to if we are going to encounter the life of the Spirit in the startling or mundane.

Emma Ineson is Tutor in Practical Theology at Trinity Theological College, Bristol. Before moving to Bristol in 2006 she was a Chaplain at Lee Abbey, a Christian Community and Retreat Centre in Devon. She is co-editor of Celebrating Community: God’s gift for today’s world (DLT Nov 2006) and author of Busy Living: Blessing not Burden (Continuum, 2007). Emma is married to Mat, who is a vicar and they have two school-age children.
Her talk will be entitled Time for Friendships, looking at why friendship is becoming more and more important for many people in today's fast-moving culture.

Ian Stackhouse has been the Senior Pastor of
Guildford Baptist Church since April 2004, having
formerly served in that role at the King's Church
Amersham. His first book 'The
Gospel-Driven Church', and his contribution to a
second: 'Remembering our Future: Explorations in
Deep Church' were well received. A new book, due to be published in May 2008, is entitled The Day is Yours: Slow Spirituality in a Fast-Moving World. He is married to Susanna and
they have four boys, all keen Burnley FC fans!
Ian's talk is entitled One Day at a Time, Sweet Jesus exploring how receiving each day at a time as a gift from God can form the bedrock of Christian discipleship in our modern world.
