Then please think about contacting, in complete confidence, one of our Money Management Team (see pictures below). They can help you prepare a Budget that will enable you to get a handle on your income and expenditure. It may not be an easy road, but it can be worth it in the end! Throughout this process, you will be expected to be accountable to the Team member in sticking to the Budget you have agreed.
Preparation of a Budget can help you worry less and allow you to make good choices about how money is spent rather than allowing circumstances to control those choices.
Where the Budget process proves that there is some unmanageable debt and proper Debt Advice is required, we can recommend a Debt Agency such as the local Christians Against Poverty Centre. We would stand alongside you during the Debt Advice process if you would like us to, but can’t continue unaided as we are not qualified Debt Advisors.
If you know you already have unmanageable debt, please contact CAP as soon as you can – www.capdebthelp.org
