    1. Bereavement Course @ Guildford Baptist Church
      12:45 pm – 3:30 pm

      Bereavement Course

      led by Peter Jackson

While focusing particularly on losing someone through death, the Bereavement Course an opportunity to look at any losses we have experienced
either recently or in the past. In a safe environment we will be able to listen to prepared talks but also share together in smaller groups where we learn from one another. Those who have attended the course in the past have all commented about how they have found the experience helpful and supportive.

The course is also suitable for those who want to understand more about bereavement so they can be more sensitive and helpful to others experiencing
loss. Some people come along to support someone who they bring with them. Since bereavement is a human experience the course will be helpful for those who have any kind of faith or none. We do not advise people to attend the course if they have been bereaved within the last 3 months.

The dates for the course: Thursday afternoons, 28th January, 4th, 11th 18th and 25th February. The afternoon begins with a meal at 12.45pm and the sessions start at 1.30pm. We finish promptly at 3.30pm. If possible it is best to be able to attend all the sessions but there can be a little flexibility if necessary. The cost of the course is £25 which covers the cost of the meals and the course notes.

The course is led by Peter Jackson so talk to him if you have any questions or concerns.
