Mission in the Local Area

As Christians part of our discipleship is to have a heart for and sacrificial commitment to the poor. At various phases of our church life these words have been significant for us:

  • 'Is it not to share your food with the hungry...' Isaiah 58:7
  • 'Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God who reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.' 2 Corinthians 5:17-18

This ministry is carried out in a number of ways, but the list below is not exhaustive, and if you have your own ideas for ways to reach out, then please contact the Church Office.

We also have a video available of the various activities of this ministry that you can watch by downloading it - right click here and 'Save Target as..' to store the video on your computer and then watch.
