It is possible that God says every morning, “Do it again” to the sun; and every evening, “Do it again” to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.
G.K. Chesterton

At Millmead, we believe that each of us is made in the image of the Creator God and that God has imparted His creative DNA to us. Sometimes we can become so driven by the tyranny of the urgent that we forget that we have a God who delights in making – just for the sake of it.

Riverside Artspace takes place on Saturdays (monthly) and on Mondays (weekly). It is a chance to bring your own materials – painting, textiles, woodwork, writing or other – and to make whatever it is you love to make, but don’t normally get time for!

The Keeper’s Theatre Group meets monthly with separate groups for different ages. The Group aims to put on regular performances within and outside the church.

Fox’s Barn Poetry Evenings are a chance to hear poetry read and to find out more about the lives of some of our best-loved poets.

Millmead Snappers are a group of enthusiastic photographers of varying abilities. They meet monthly to have fun together and explore what God might be saying to them through the focus of a camera lens.
