Prayer Ministry
At Guildford Baptist Church we have many opportunities for prayer and for connecting with God.
We have two Prayer Ministry Deacons who oversee our ministry and a larger Prayer Ministry Team of congregational members who are also there to help.

Isobel Anderson
Ruth Salisbury
Ruth works with Wycliffe Bible Translators in a staff care role. She and her husband moved to the UK in 1995 to start a translation project with Elam Ministries; the whole Bible was completed in 2014. They have been at Millmead since 1999 and Ruth is on the pastoral care team, having been involved in prayer ministry since 2005. They have three children and four grandchildren. Ruth enjoys looking after her youngest grandson once a week (her play therapy!). She also enjoys reading, writing, history and spending time with family and friends.
